Saif Makableh embarked on a culinary adventure in 2012, honing his skills alongside renowned chefs specializing in Lebanese cuisine in Sydney, Australia. Fueled by his newfound expertise, Saif returned to the Bay Area with a vision to create an unparalleled Mediterranean dining experience.
Joined by his brother Jordan, they approached their father, who owned the cherished Green Valley Market, a grocery store deeply ingrained in the community since 2005. Instead of letting it go, they proposed an inspiring transformation—a Mediterranean restaurant that would showcase the dynamic flavors and techniques of the Levant. With their father's blessing, Saif and Jordan embarked on this culinary endeavor.
